Hazardous Waste Disposal - One simple way we can protect God's earth is to buy less toxic products and to properly dispose of unused protions of those we do use. We are fortunate to have the Johnson County Hazardous Waste collection site right here in our community near Lamar and I-35. All you need to do is call 715-6900 to get directions to the facility and make an appointment to bring in your materials. That way you never have to wait in line and can be in and out in five minutes! The hours of operation are 1:00-6:00 p.m. Mondays, 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 8:00-ll:30 a.m. the second Saturday of the month.
